Good Friday – Good Holiday?

I have to be honest with you: I sometimes find Good Friday a little frustrating.

It’s not the event itself, of course. The day marks one of the pivotal moments in the Christian calendar, when we pause to reflect on the enormity of Jesus’ sacrifice and the gift he gave to us through the cross.

One Disturbed Listener

Martin hit a raw nerve during his teaching last Sunday. As he explored how we all tend to do what Jesus called ‘drawing attention to the speck in someone else’s eye while ignoring the plank in our own’, I found myself feeling very uncomfortable!

Too Big To Be A Family?

Something exciting is happening in our culture — a quiet stirring of faith, a gentle return to questions of meaning, hope, and belonging. Some have begun to call this movement a “quiet revival”. Unlike past revivals marked by tents, crowds, and fiery preaching, this one unfolds in living rooms, coffee shops, online chats, and small acts of kindness. It’s quieter, but no less real.
